Education:
Successfully
completed the Nurse Aide Competency
Evaluation Program conducted by the Ohio
Department of Health
under Section 3721.31 of the Revised
Code and be listed on the Ohio
Nurse Aide Registry or the Medicare
Competency Evaluation
Program for Home Health Aides as set
forth in 42 CFR 434. without a
twenty-four month lapse in employment; or
Has received
provider agency training and testing.
Testing shall include written test and
skills testing by return demonstration
Job Duties: A highlight of the
responsibilities include but are not
limited to, Observing, reporting and
documenting client status and
services provided;Reading and recording
temperature, pulse and respiration;
Ensuring that the basic elements of body
functioning
and changes in body function(s) are
reported to Supervisor; Recognizing
emergencies; knowledge of and following
through
emergency procedures; and basic home
safety; Assisting Clients with eating,
bathing, dressing, personal hygiene,
grooming, and
other activities of daily living and
instrumental activities of daily living;
Preparing the Clients meals; light
Housekeeping chores.
